Free Printable Mini Piñatas
28 November 2019
With the Thanksgiving holiday upon us, I thought I’d share with you these printable mini piñatas. Yes! Piñatas! Because let’s be honest, I’d much rather stuff a piñata than a turkey. Plus, they’re the perfect size for showing your friends and family you’re thankful for them any time of the year.
During my time at American Crafts, I developed a line DIY mini piñatas for We R Memory Keepers. I absolutely loved this product line!!! Of all the products I have made over the years, this is the one that I have played with the most after it was released to the public. I would make them for all of my coworkers on their birthdays. It was the perfect little handmade gift to set on their desks.
In fact, I even made a “Latest & Greatest” video for this product line while I was at CHA back in 2016. It’s hard to believe this was over 3 years ago!
Thinking back on these piñatas (and this holiday of stuffing things), I was inspired to illustrate and create a “pre-decorated” mini piñata to share with you. These mini piñatas are available in two color variations.
I constructed these printable piñatas a little differently than the blank We R Memory Keepers piñatas. These piñatas have a hang tab on their back that can double as pull tab. This way, you can open and close the back of the donkey easily to fill with anything from wrapped candy to artisan churros! PLUS, if you are adding these piñatas to a place setting or gifting them to a friend, you can tie a balloon to the hang tab to make them extra festive!
