Mad Lib Thank You Card & Envelope
31 December 2019
Do you get writer’s block every time you try to craft the perfect “Thank You” note? I’ve gotcha covered. This thank you card has fun prompts to help you select the perfect words to say “Thanks” . . . or “Merci Beaucoup” . . . or even “Danke Schoen!” Just fill in the blanks! PLUS, this card also features a gift card holder, so you can put your money where your Mad Lib is!!!
My wife is the best at sending thank you notes. It probably stems from her love of writing. When we got married we divided our “thank you writing duties.” Hers were completed and sent lickety-split. Mine . . . were sent, but not as quick. It’s not that I wasn’t grateful for our gifts, I just didn’t know what to write. If only I had thought of this Mad Libs fill-in-the-blank card 18 years ago!
I’ve shared in previous posts how we’ve used Mad Lib type prompts to make it fun and easy for our girls to write birthday thank you notes and travel postcards. It makes the process thoughtful and streamlined. So, we thought why not create a generic thank you Mad Libs type note that can include a gift card. A few bucks on a gift card can really make someone feel loved.
So go ahead! Why not surprise a teacher or co-worker, or maybe a neighbor that went that extra mile to think of you when you were sick and offered to take your carpool days. This Mad Libs thank you card has fun and easy prompts to really let the recipient know you’re grateful for their friendship and help.
