Curt is a Utah based illustrator, product designer, paper crafter, and family man. He has been married to his “high school sweetheart” for 18 years, and is the proud dad of two crafty daughters.
He graduated from Brigham Young University (BYU) with a Bachelor of Arts, emphasizing in design for theater and film. After graduation, he enjoyed his 15 minutes of fame as Art Director for the cult classic Napoleon Dynamite. His handiwork can been seen on posters and locker signs throughout the film, and he can say with great pride that he was the man behind-the-caboodle-case tying Deb’s infamous boondoggle.
Channeling his inner Deb, Curt has made a living for his family with his handicraft skills. He has developed new products and collections for Cricut, American Crafts, Heidi Swapp, Project Life, We R Memory Keepers, Pebbles Inc., Sweet Sugarbelle, Doodlebug Design, DCWV, Michaels, Target, and HSN. He is currently a freelance illustrator and product designer.
I am first and foremost a crafty dad who loves making things. Over the years I have played with my share of good and bad craft supplies. As I showcase my projects, I like sharing the products I am using so you can get the best results in your own craft room. Please know that I only share products that I have personally played with and love.
I participate in several affiliate programs. That means I receive a commission whenever products are purchased through the links on my website at NO additional cost to you. It’s kind of like tipping your waiter at a restaurant . . . only the tip doesn’t come out of your pocket, it comes out of the restaurant’s pocket! This is how I can offer my custom-designed printables to you for FREE! The affiliate programs I use are for Scrapbook.com and Cricut.
I never promote a product just because a company has asked me to. I only promote what I love and think you will, too. If you have any questions or concerns, please email me.
